James Hamilton is the current Director of Public Prosecutions at the Irish Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. In September 2010 James Hamilton was elected President of the International Association of Prosecutors. James Hamilton became Director of Public Prosecutions in 1999. Before becoming Director of Public Prosecutions James Hamilton was a practicing barrister and was head of the Attorney General's Office in Ireland.
