Religious Importance

The first step to famous Chhota Mahadev pilgrimage is supposed to be located in Jamai (the place where the step is located is known as Junnardeo – a part of Jamai). Pilgrims cross seven hills (famously called Saat Pahadiyan) to reach Chhota Mahadev.
Its also famous for a religious fair held every year for 15 Days on "Maha Shivaratri".
