The implementation of Stage 1 of the project (Mansarover to Chandpole having the length of about 9.25 km) including the civil works, permanent way, depot and traction and power supply, etc. are to be executed by DMRC on turnkey basis. The AFC, telecom and signalling, and rolling stock of line completed in stage 1 is to be executed on PPP basis in Stage 2 along with the complete line of Corridoor-I (Ambabari to Sitapura), the remaining part of Corridoor-II (Badi Chaupar to Chandpole).

Orange Line (Sitapura Industrial Area - Ambabari)
The Second route of Jaipur metro rail (north-south corridoor) will connect Sitapura Industrial Area in south to Ambabari in north via Ajmeri Gate and MI Road. The tracks will be elevated till Ajmeri Gate and then will go underground.|}
Finances
The East-West corridor of the Metro in Phase 1 is expected to cost Rs 1250 crore. The state government would be directly funding Rs 600 crore while the rest would be borne by other wings of state urban development and housing departments.The Phase 2 is expected to cost Rs 7000 crore for which government is mulling over PPP mode.
Operations
The operation and maintenance of the Stage 1 and Stage 2 is to be done on PPP basis by a concessionaire.Rolling Stock
