Jahn Otto Johansen is a Norwegian journalist, newspaper editor, foreign correspondent and non-ficiton writer.
He worked for the newspaper Morgenposten
from 1956 to 1966, for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) from 1966 to 1977, and was chief editor of Dagbladet
from 1977 to 1984. He has been a foreign correspondent for NRK in Moscow, Washington and Berlin. He has written around sixty books, including several bestsellers.
