Jacqueline was also selected as Pageant-Almanac's predicted winner for the pageant. She was also selected as the Face of the Year for 2008 by Global Beauties.com. The Face of the Year contest reviews pageant contestants from across the world.

Modeling

Jacqueline has been a professional model ever since she was 13 years old. She has graced the front cover of the nationally circulated Wedding Style Magazine and has been a featured model on runways across New England. When she was 14, she was selected to be the "Macy's/Seventeen Prom Model of the Year" in a nationwide modeling contest and was featured in Seventeen Magazine.

Career

Jacqueline joined WWLP-22News in Springfield, MA in December of 2008. Since then, she has reported on some of the area's most important stories, including the Phoebe Prince bullying trials and the Northampton arsons. She is also the weekend evening anchor.

Jacqueline started her media career in college when she worked as the public relations director for a successful state representative's campaign in 2004. She also interned at New England Cable News.

In 2004, The Standard Times awarded Jacqueline with the title of "Freetown Woman of the Year" for her success in the Miss Teen USA 2003 pageant and for her devotion to local politics.

After college, she worked as a production assistant at the CW Boston's 10 o'clock news and sold radio advertising at WBMX Mix 98.5 in Boston and WFHN FUN 107 in Fairhaven, MA.

In November of 2007, she was named Miss Massachusetts USA 2008, and placed in the top ten at the nationally televised Miss USA pageant in April of 2008. Upon returning from the pageant, Jacqueline was featured on an episode of MTV's MADE where she helped a young man compete for the title of "Mr. Chelmsford High." She also was a host on NewEngland TV on NewEngland.com where she explored the sites of New England from the perspective of a real New Englander.
