JCC has held continuous accreditation by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools

 since 1933 and offers 48 different degree and certificate programs at low cost to Jackson County and Michigan residents. It is a comprehensive community college dedicated to providing quality learning opportunities for individual growth and community involvement.

Today, the College serves nearly 12,000 students each year between its several locations, from its main campus located in Summit Township, the Flight Center at the Jackson County Airport, JCC@LISD TECH (vocational-technical school) in Adrian

JCC prepares students for careers in high-demand fields through personal involvement, instruction and real-world learning. The College offers associate's degrees, certificate programs, and transfer options to students. Classes are available year-round in a variety of formats, including traditional classroom teaching and online courses.

's adult education program. The LeTarte Hillsdale Center offers classes in allied health fields, business, criminal justice, graphic design, nursing and many courses that are aimed at students seeking to earn credits for transfer to a 4-year college.
