Jack Frazer

John L. Frazer OMM
, MSC
(born 20 December 1931 in Kamloops, British Columbia
) was a member of the Canadian House of Commons
from 1993 to 1997.
His career from 1951 to 1987 was in the Canadian Forces
where he attained the rank of colonel
and was awarded the Order of Military Merit
and the Meritorious Service Cross
. He was a fighter pilot who formed and commanded 439 Reconnaissance Squadron on the CF104 at RCAF Marville, France from 1964 to 1967. After serving as the Staff Officer Reconnaissance at NATO Headquarters Allied Forces Northern Europe (HQ AFNORTH) at Kolsas, Norway, he commanded the Canadian Forces Officer Candidate School located at CFB Chilliwack in the mid 1970s . He later commanded Canadian Forces Base Baden-Soellingen, Germany before being posted to Harare, Zimbabwe where, as Military Advisor/Attache, he was accredited to Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Botswana.
Frazer was elected as a Reform Party
