. It is led by Ameer Allama Mufti Fazlul Huq Amini and Chairman Shaikul Hadith Allama Azizul Haq. It has a focus on building an islamic state, and has used the madrassas, or islamic schools, to gain support. While there has been rumours of connections between this party and other militant Islamic groups, such as the Taliban, there has been no evidence found as yet.
