College Ready Plan
The high school curriculum lasts two years, after which most pupils become full-time UNCW students. As part of their studies, students do lab work at the university, attend lectures, and have access to the university's Randall Library. These courses give pupils both high school and university credits. Students are also required to complete a total of at least 50 hours of community service per year to graduate, even while at UNCW.Admissions
To begin the admissions process, students first submit an initial application. The application consists of student information, parent surveys, an essay, and information for the school to fill out. After which, interviews are set up between the student and representatives of the school, which may be set up by the school of the student. After the process the student may be accepted, denied, or placed on a waiting list until a final decision is reached.Course Selection
