and was moved to its present location in Irondale in the fall of 2007, where its name was changed to Irondale Middle School. Irondale Middle serves grades 6-8. The administration consists of one principal, Phylis Montalto, and one assistant principal, Bobby Jackson. Irondale Middle colors are maroon and black, and the athletic teams are called the "Mounties". Sports include football, cheerleading, girls and boys basketball, girls volleyball, track, baseball and girls softball.
