Accident

The aircraft landed at Blagoveshchensk's Ignatyevo Airport at 14:20 local time (04:20 Zulu Time). Thunderstorms were reported in the area at the time. The METAR

 in force at the time of the accident was "UHBB 080400Z 19004MPS 3100 -TSRA OVC016CB 23/22 Q1006 NOSIG RMK QFE737/0983 36290540". The aircraft overran the end of the runway coming to rest some 200 metres (218.7 yd) later with the landing gear collapsed and the left wing detached from the aircraft. Of the five crew and 31 passengers on board, nine passengers and three crew were injured.

 were damaged in the accident, good data were retrieved from both instruments.

Aftermath

On 17 August, IrAero's Air Operator's Certificate
