With the Act of Parliament was passed on 28 July 1884, with the line being opened between Aviemore and Carrbridge on 8 July 1892, between Carrbridge and Daviot 19 July 1897 and the final section to Millburn Junction in Inverness on 1 November 1898.As part of the Highland Railway
