Route description

I-190 begins as West Boulevard and has an intersection with Omaha Street, which is signed as US 16 and SD 44. US 16 continues eastbound on Omaha Street and runs concurrently with I-190 for the Interstate's entire length. I-190 then becomes a freeway, with an exit to North Street. I-190 then passes under Anamosa Street before an onramp to the northbound lanes from West Boulevard. I-190 then terminates at a trumpet interchange with I-90 and US 14.
