(Укртелеком). DSL prices are available across the country and at the same prices.
Several local ISP exist. In particular, the capital Kiev
is served by cable provider http://volia.com/Volia.
According to CIA estimates, Ukraine had over 94,000 internet hosts and, extrapolating from figures given in 2002, about a million users in 2004. By November 2004 Ukraine (with then a population of 48 million) boasted some 6 million users accessing the Internet. By then the web in Ukraine had evolved to the stage of being a reliable information medium.
