 players from around the world. Four journals are sent out every year to all members along with occasional instructional and practice items (i.e. C.D.s, sheet music, music programs). The ITG hosts many competitions and conferences for trumpet players of all levels and interests. There are also conferences for educators. The Carmine Caruso International Jazz Trumpet Solo Competition was held at the University of Arizona
