International Planetary Data Alliance

International Planetary Data Alliance (IPDA), founded in 2006, is a close co-operation partners in order to maintain the quality and performance for planetary research with instruments in space. Specific task will IPDA and universal access for the exchange of scientific data of high quality international and organized by a set of standards to facilitate data management. Standard NASA Planetary Data System IPDA are, de facto standard for archiving planetary data. Member organizations participate in both the Board and on specific projects related to building standards and interoperable systems.

In 2008, Space Research Committee (COSPAR) Resolution IPDA considered an official body to set standards around the world looking for archive.
