The International Institute for Energy Conservation (IIEC) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization with the mission of promoting sustainable approaches to energy use in developing countries.

History

The organization was founded by Robert L. Pratt and Bailey Spencer in 1984. One of its early successes was its assistance in the creation of a demand side management energy conservation program in Thailand
