Intelligent Creatures is a motion picture visual effects company located in Toronto, Canada, currently headed by VFX Supervisor and CEO, Lon Molnar. Lon worked in the Graphic Design field before attending the Vancouver Film School in 1996.
IC was founded in 2003 by its current CEO Lon Molnar, and former partners Michael Hatton, Raymond Gieringer, and Wendy Lanning. The company was created in response to the demands of a booming visual effects industry at a time when there was a shortage of Visual Effects Vendors who were able to provide High-End Design work in Toronto, Canada. The studio is located in the Toronto east end, a close proximity to Pinewood Toronto Studios and Cinespace Film Studios.
IC provided visual effects for Columbia's Battle: Los Angeles, Zack Snyder's Watchmen, Darren Aronofsky's The Fountain, and Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's Babel.

Most notably known for bringing Dave Gibbon's iconic hero to life, Rorschach in over 300 visual effects shots for Zack Snyder's Watchmen.
