The Integrated Applications Promotion (IAP) programme (also referred as ARTES 20
) is a new ESA's framework that supports the development of added value services through combining space assets (such as Telecommunications, Earth Observation, Navigation, and Human Space flight technologies) with existing terrestrial assets.

IAP is organised around three major elements:
- Awareness activities, which aim at collecting users'needs for sustainable services.
- Feasibility studies, which provide the preparatory framework to identify, analyse and define new user-driven sustainable services.
- Demonstration projects are carried out on the basis of a partnership with IAP and have the ultimate goal of validating the technical and economic viability of the proposed solution.
