Indian Creek is an at-grade terminus station on the Blue Line
of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority
(MARTA) rail system that serves a portion of DeKalb County, Georgia
just outside of Interstate 285
. It has an island platform with 1 track on each side of the platform. This station was opened in June, 1993.It serves the unincorporated communities of Lithonia, Stone Mountain, and Decatur. As the eastern terminus for the Blue Line, it primarily serves commuters who take advantage of the free daily parking and ride into Atlanta-proper. As a terminus it is one of the busiest train stations in the systems. It provides connecting bus service to the City of Lithonia, the Mall at Stonecrest, Evans Mill Park and Ride, Memorial Drive Park and Ride, East Dekalb Health Center, Hillandale-Dekalb Medical Center, and Snapfinger Woods Office Park.
