India Digital Media Awards

The India Digital Media Awards (also referred to as IDMA) is India's apex and first award recognizing the great works in Internet and mobile space in India. The awards are organised by Exchange4media group, a leading web and print publications company based in Mumbai and Delhi. Although there is no precedence to this award (first time in India a digital award is instituted), the awards are closely on the lines of Filmfare Awards or the US Webby's Award.

The first IDMA award was held in Mumbai, India on March 11, 2010 at the Taj Lands End hotel and attended by more than 400 people from media, advertising, Internet and mobile industry.

The award has 19 categories, the leading among them:

The Best Portal of the Year, Best Blog, Best Mobile App. of the year, Best Rich Media Display Banner, Best Digital Agency of the year etc.

Winners: 435 entries were judged to select the winners of 19 categories.
Judges: The high powered jury who declared mid-day.com as a winner included top honchos of the digital and media industry, to name a few, Deepti Dang of HP India, Lynn de Souza of Lintas Media Group, Alex Kuruvilla of Conde Nast India, Raj Nayak of NDTV Media, Vikram Sakhuja of GroupM, and many more
