The Independence Visitor Center is the Official Visitor Center for the Greater Philadelphia Region, located at One North Independence Mall West, at corner of 6th & Market Streets, Philadelphia, PA 19106. The 50000 square feet (4,645.2 m²) building was constructed in 2001 as the result of a cooperative effort among many area organizations, with funding from The Pew Charitable Trusts
