It opened in 1994, just held 60 students.

Incheon Science High School is a magnet school, so the graduates of the school usually go to science and engineering colleagues (Seoul National University, Postech, KAIST, Hanyang University, Korea University, Yonsei University and other prestigious universities in Korea and in the world, and also medical schools in Korea).

The purpose of establishment

Buildings

The school contains Main building, Outbuilding, Cheong Un Gwan (청운관 : Dormitory), Cheong Myeong Gwan (청명관 : Dormitory) and cafeteria. Because each building is connected by an arcade, the movement between building is free of rain.

Main building

It has four floors. The classrooms for first- and second-year students and main school works are finished.
  • On first floor, there are principal's office, administrative office, the office of advice and superintendent, the classroom for mathematics, assembly hall, workshop, audiovisual room and the room for physics olympiad. The lobby is located in center. On side of that, weight room and table tennis room are established.
  • On second floor, there are four classrooms for first-year students, first-year student teachers' room , lab, earth science laboratory, an admission officer's room and polarizing microscope room.
  • On third floor, there are four classrooms for second-year students, second-year student teachers' room, library, computer room, audio/visual laboratory and outdated study hall. Also, the third floor is connected by passage to cafeteria and outbuilding.
  • On rooftop, there is the room for astronomical observation.

Outbuilding

It has four floors. there are classrooms for third-year students, class about gifted and talented education, science experiments (class about gifted and talented education is achieved at classrooms for third-year students).
  • On first floor, special ability and talented person office and three classrooms for third-year students are located.
  • On second floor, chemical laboratory, lab and chemicals room are located.
  • On third floor, physical laboratory, lab and seminar room are located.
  • On fourth floor, biologic laboratory, lab and microscope room are located.

Cheong Un Gwan (청운관)

It is a dormitory that has three floors. Even though coed dorm is located in same building, the dormitory is separated by walls. 1~2 peoples live in an one room. Each room has two beds. A restroom, washroom, shower are common. Most students are junior, but almost 12people are freshmen.

Cheong Myeong Gwan (청명관)

This building was built in 2009. Since November 2, all of women and the part of men live on dormitory. 2~4 peoples live in an one room. Each room has rest room and four beds. Only fresh man live.

Cafeteria

It is composed of two hall. Two hall are used in special lunch time, but special lunch time was disappeared. So only one hall is used. Each hall have two Food Distribution Counters and one Return Used Utensils for Cleaning Here.

There are four kind of clubs. In there students must join each study club, olimpiad club, interest club
