Music video

Released in late 2005, the music video for "In the Rough" achieved some video play on VH1 and Canada's Much More Music, though not as much as the "Breathe (2 AM)" video.

The video was shot in the first week of October 2005, directed by Matt McDermitt and produced by Gina Leonard with executive producers Joseph Kahn and Jamie Kohn. The video was shot in a L.A mansion.
The video, unlike "Breathe (2 AM)", follows a story. Nalick plays a young woman in an abusive relationship. The video follows her suffering and wanting to leave. Throughout the video an alternate personality of Nalick watches the events going on, while singing to the track.

With a various backgrounds of fire and water, alternate Nalick watches as the abused Nalick tries to break up with her abusive boyfriend causing him to burst out and charging her. Alternate Nalick sympathetically watches, almost in tears as abused Nalick finally leaves, running out of the mansion - barefoot

in the mud to her car.

Both Nalicks sing as the music video comes to an end and Anna drives away into the city.

Alternate Nalick wears a stunning silk dress as she sings alone, the elements changing behind her. Starting with wind/leaves, to rain and ending with a burst of fire (passion) as the video comes to its conclusion.

Unlike her first video, this one allows Nalick to show off her acting skills while playing the part of the girlfriend.

The video can be seen on her website, www.annanalick.com.
