. The school caters for children between the ages of 11 and 18. The school roll totals 1650 including 300 in the Sixth Form, and the school is situated on two different sites at Windmill Lane and Imberhorne Lane.

The current headteacher is Mr Jon Ford. In 2004 the school was awarded Artsmark Silver and Sportsmark

Many pupils achieve higher than average results and the school ranks within the top 10 in West Sussex. In the current 2007 GCSE results, 76% students achieved five or more A* - C passes, compared to a national average of 63%. The Sixth Form provides both academic and vocational courses.

Each school year has a head of year, and each site has a Headteacher as well as a deputy head, who are localised to that site.

Facilities

Imberhorne is split into two sites. The Windmill Lane site, which is the old county grammar school, houses years 7, 8 and 9 (key stage 3) and the Imberhorne Lane site is used by years 10, 11 (key stage 4) and the Sixth form.

Children In Need and other activities

Both sites raise money yearly for many different charity organizations, but the most notable are the Children In Need and Comic Relief charities where the students have been known to raise over £4000. Dame Kelly Holmes is among the famous to have visited the school, she brought along her two gold medals to inspire the children to become and remain fit and healthy.
