Illinois Route 109 is a minor north–south state road in southwest Illinois
. It runs from Illinois Route 3
east of Newbern
north to U.S. Route 67
in Jerseyville
. This is a distance of 8.22 miles (13.23 km).
for its entire length. Traveling northbound from IL 3, it goes directly north for a short distance, and then curves a bit. Right after the curves, it passes McClusky
, and resumes traveling due north for the remainder of its length. Within the town of Jerseyville, it picks up the name McClusky road. It's northern terminus is at US 67 in Southeastern Jerseyville.
