All members have personal profiles and a message center, which allows users to learn more about the person behind the review (their favorite destinations, films, books, etc), then to contact that member with questions or to just say hello. IgoUgo members can also create a personal friends network, which allows them to stay up-to-date on all their favorite IgoUgo contributors' travel journals.

Anyone can join IgoUgo (for free) to share his/her own travel reviews and photos.
