 in 2003, he became one of the station's regular presenting team and hosted a number of shows during its time on air - most notably 'Ian Chilvers Into The Night'. When the station closed in March 2007, he moved to its replacement 106.6 Smooth Radio

Ian is the current Sunday afternoon presenter on Gem 106 in the East Midlands, the radio station launched at midnight on the 31st December 2010.

His voice can also be heard on radio commercials across the UK including 106.5 Jack fm, 107.2 The Breeze, The Severn, 107.2 The Wyre and various campaigns on Spotify.

Ian also runs a successful entertainment business; yourdooz.com, providing audio, lighting, DJ's and Firework displays for private and corporate parties. During the last 12 months he has worked alongside Jools Holland, Ruby Turner, Marc Almond, Justin Lee Collins, The Saturdays and Ed Byrne
