The organisation was a response to Liana Werner-Gray's nomination of Miss Earth

 Australia 2009. Werner-Gray created I Love Earth in Australia and visited the schools herself to give a 20 minute interactive speech to the students. I Love Earth is now global with ambassadors in several countries.

 will travel to the schools in their country and give a 30 minute interactive environmental speech with the students. The I Love Earth speech includes awareness of what a carbon footprint is and how it can be reduced. The goal is to reduce the amount of carbon emissions entering the atmosphere. I Love Earth is designed to encourage school students to participate in I Love Earth as an everyday activity. Hundreds of students get involved once an I Love Earth Ambassador visits a school, learning about the impact of waste on the environment, carbon footprints and how they can make a difference to their local community by planting trees and reducing their carbon footprint.
