The EP was released as part of the limited box-set, "The Stories
", alongside the band's other singles, "Symphonaire Infernus et Spera Empyrium
" and "The Thrash of Naked Limbs
". All three were released on one disc on the compilation "Trinity
" in 1995, although the Trinity release of the EP replaces "Transcending (Into The Exquisite)" with "The Sexuality Of Bereavement
". "Transcending" was later released on the reissued "Turn Loose The Swans
".
The song's video is available on "For Darkest Eyes
".
The lead track uses both the death grunting of the debut album and the slower, more mournful pace of "Turn Loose the Swans". The track also features guest vocals by Ghost of GGFH

, most prominently "The Songless Bird". The final track is a remix
