However, in early 2006, when ITV revamped its identity, ITV News at Ten Thirty was supposed to be relaunched as the new ITV Nightly News. However, no such thing ever happened, with the programme either being advertised as ITV News at 10.30 (on the programme), or simply ITV News (in listings).
