Nav N Go iGO 8 was the next version of the software, released in April 2008. It offers high-definition 3D navigation maps of terrain, road elevation, landmarks and 3D buildings, using its unique visualization engine.

iGO amigo was launched at CeBIT
2009, Hanover. iGO amigo was the first in a new software series by Nav N GO. iGo amigo contains the functions essential to navigation but simplifies the user interface. Since iGO amigo is a streamlined release, it has less features than its more robust predecessor iGO 8. It is currently available as built-in navigation software of several PND brands, such as Nextar (in the US) and Navon (in Europe).

Currently maps and updates are available for over 80 countries and regions, including European, North and South American, African, Middle East, Asian and Oceanian countries.
Maps files in iGo are in FBL format. Other files can be found in map folder also. FDA format files are available as Driver Alerts, and FTI format contains Truck Information.

Maps for iGo cover many parts of the world. There are different versions of iGo maps for the same country/region, made by a different map suppliers. Major suppliers are Teleatlas, Navteq, and some regional providers, like TopMap (Hungary, Romania), Suncart (Romania), Epsilon (Greece, Cyprus), Navigo Sistem (Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia), MMCN (Bulgaria), Regio (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania), Contrast (Serbia, Montenegro), Emapa (Poland), CEDA (Czech), Basarsoft (Turkey), CarteBlanche (Ukraine).
