The International Function Point User Group is a non-profit organization originally set up in 1986. IFPUG offers certification for professionals across the world with a CFPS (Certified Function Point Specialist) certification. The current version of the standard Function Point analysis Counting Practices Manual is 4.3. IFPUG also offers multi-level certifications in CSMS (Certified Software Measurement Specialist).
