The Hyundai
Delta engine family is the company's smaller V6, ranging from 2.5 L to 2.7 L. Both share the same 75 mm (3 in) stroke and both are DOHC designs. Some confusion arrises form the name D after the displacement. It does not mean DIESEL as other makers many times do this. Hyundai/Kia refers to it as the 2.5/2.7 D for Delta in this way. Nothing more.
