's ranch, which serves as the center of the community. While residential in nature, there are some businesses in the area, several of which are located in the "downtown" area of the Lynn ranch. This is also the location of the post office which services the southern portion of Humphreys County. Hurricane Mills is also the home of the Loretta Lynn amateur motocross race held every year in August.
