The Hungarian Warmblood
or Hungarian Sport horse as it is also known was developed at the Mezohegyes State Stud in Hungary
. Through selective crossing of native Hungarian breeds, a "warmblood sport horse" was established. It is now used mostly as a competition horse and including disciplines like dressage, show jumping, cross-country and combined driving.
