Hull-Ottawa Canadiens

The Hull-Ottawa Canadiens were a team in the Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) Senior "A" league
for 3 seasons from 1956-59. The team played an interlocking schedule in 1956-57 with the Quebec Senior Hockey League
. The Canadiens then played in the Eastern Professional Hockey League (EPHL) from 1959-63. Scotty Bowman
coached the team in 1962-63.
The senior team coexisted with the OHA Junior team for three seasons, then in 1959 the Ottawa Junior Canadiens merged with the senior team. This union lasted for 4 years until the EPHL folded after the 1962-63 season.
Games were played at the Ottawa Auditorium and at the Arena de Hull later renamed the Arena Robert Guertin.
