Holy Family Academy was founded by a group of parents in 2000. It serves students from the seventh- through twelfth-grade.

The school has made a commitment to pay fair wages to its employees and to making the school affordable, in as much as it is able, to all families.

All teachers must sign a profession of faith and oath of fidelity to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.

The goal of education at Holy Family Academy is to produce "the true Christian...the supernatural man who thinks, judges and acts constantly and consistently in accordance with right reason illumined by the supernatural light of the example and teaching of Christ."

The educational philosophy of the school values intellectual, moral, and spiritual formation aimed at eternal salvation.

The school is accredited by the National Association of Private Catholic and Independent Schools.
