Hole Alur is located in Roan Taluk. This small town is well connected by train and located on Gadag-Solapur rail line. It is famous as a wood sculpture heritage of Karnataka. Features of the carvings are stories from Ramayana and Mahabharata are carved along with floral patterns and creepers.
