HTV also has several specific cable and digital television channels. HTV is an administrative unit (not a company) under the administration of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. All news and releases must go through censorship of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Communication. HTV is the largest local television broadcaster in Vietnam
