of the Czech Republic

Hlinsko's history can be traced back to the 11th century for the first written document. Hlinsko stands on the banks of the Chrudimka
river, at the foot of the mountains of the Bohemian-Moravian Uplands. It has about 10,000 inhabitans and it is the natural centre of its region called Hlinecko.
