Biography

She was born on August 10, 1890 as Hilder Florentina Youngber. On June 10, 1914 she made her first solo flight. She was married to James Floyd Smith

. She died on January 11, 1977. She was buried at the Portal of Folded Wings Shrine to Aviation in California.
