. Established in 1965, the Highland Voice folded after the 1988-1989 school year.

Although officially the campus newspaper of the Highland Lakes campus of OCC, the Highland Voice was distributed to all of OCC's campuses and the Bee Administration Center, the college's district office, located in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.

For most of the publication's 24 years, the Highland Voice was the lone student newspaper of OCC; the exception being in the 1970s and 1980s when the Orchard Ridge campus occasionally published the Orchard Ridge Recorder
