Higham Ferrers is a former railway station on a Midland Railway

The line was closed in 1971, and the station has since been demolished and the track lifted. It is the eventual aim of the Rushden, Higham & Wellingborough Railway to reopen the line to Higham Ferrers from its base at Rushden station
as well as to Wellingborough. As of May 2011 the line is still being planned to be re-opened about 2012.
