High School for Construction Trades, Engineering and Architecture

The High School For Construction Trades Engineering And Architecture was established in 2006 by the New York Department of Education. It was intended to support its students to the fields of architecture, engineering or construction trades. In the 2009-2010 school year this highschool is going to have its first graduating class. This school is separated into three different academies: architecture, engineering and construction trades. Each of them having a three year course of study. During the first year students get to explore the three fields and are taught different things pertaining to these fields. During the second year they choose one of the three fields and continue on with their studies in that field. This school has internships to help the students explore their fields of choice. Currently this school has many resources from other company's to help and bring people into these fields also.
