V8 Supercar

Races in the V8 Supercar series have been held at Hidden Valley Raceway since 1998. The first Territory round of the V8 Supercar Championship Series was run at Hidden Valley Raceway on 17–19 July 1998. It was followed by a second on 4–6 June 1999. The event is usually held late June or early July because the temperature is cooler and it is in the 'dry season'. The current event is called the Skycity Triple Crown and was held on 4–6 July 2008. The 2008 event was voted as the event of the year.
