Hibernia College is broken up into three schools; Education, Health Sciences and Management & Law. It is noted for its Higher Diploma in Arts in Primary Education which is accredited by the Department of Education in Ireland, entitling graduates to teach in primary schools. Previously, students had to hold a specific undergraduate education degree. Now a student may take up this course with an undergraduate degree from any discipline. The college also runs a post-graduate and masters programmes in teaching and learning for post-primary teaching.
