from 30 June 1824 to 8 June 1826 and New Shoreham
from 16 June 1826 to 15 December 1832.
He was also the High Sheriff of Cumberland
in 1834.
Howard married Charlotte Caroline Georgina Long, daughter of Henry Lawes Long of Hampton Lodge, Surrey, on 6 December 1849, by whom he had:
