. It has its own park, a joint golf course, a petrol station and main bus routes to Durham, England. There are around 6 main streets in the main block of houses (3 of those are very popular, Church Street, East View and Russ Street), other streets are situated along the road (not counted). Overall there will be just over 120 people living in this area. There are 2 sets of allotments where local people may grow their own veg and fruit and keep small amounts of livestock. There is a pub named The Colliery just up the bank.

It is also home to the 'field of dreams' which refers to a small football pitch used by locals of all ages. In the summer it is often occupied everyday and is the main attraction of the town.
Helmington Row does not have much history, although, it was built there in the first place to support miners as there is a coal mine there, which is not in use now.
Main types or transport such as; Cars, Buses, Walking, Cycling and Biking... Sometimes horses are used in this area.

Crook Primary School, Parkside Sports College, St. Johns, Hartside Primary and St.Cutberts are the main schools children from this area attend.
Horseback Riding and Football are its main sports.

Arriva Buses for North East, few shops.
Although Helmington Row is closer to Willington than Crook (as it is in between) , it belongs to Crook.
