' area, it was renamed 'Helderberg' by the City of Cape Town
following concerns about possible racist connotation

The Helderberg consists of Somerset West, Strand, Gordons Bay and a few other towns. The district takes its name from the imposing Helderberg Mountain, which is Afrikaans
for "clear mountain", and culminates at a height of 1137m as The Dome.
